ITO EN Oi Ocha Shinhaiku Contest

OJS pupils were awarded at this year’s Haiku Contest! Warabi Tsuchiya and Olivia McLoughlin won the Honorable Mention Award for their haiku poems at this year’s ITO En Oi Ocha Shinhaiku Contest!Congratulations and well done to both of them. Their haikus will be printed on the packaging of the tea bottles in Japan.

The Nihongo Cup 2020

Gold Medal for Oxford Japanese School student! Congratulations for achieving a Gold medal (Pre-GCSE category) in the Nihongo Cup! The Nihongo Cup is a prestigious annual Japanese speech competition, for students in the secondary schools in the UK, organised by Japan Foundation/Embassy.

GCSE results 2020

All our GCSE students from a Japanese background were awarded the best possible result, 9, for their GCSE. Non-Japanese GCSE students received either an 8 or a 9. We are all very proud of these excellent results. Congratulations and well done!
