Head Teacher: Yoshiko

Yoshiko is a qualified English teacher for junior and high schools in Japan. She is also a qualified Japanese teacher. She has lived in the U.K. since 2006. She currently teaches primary and secondary years and non-Japanese beginner classes at Oxford Japanese school. She likes to watch musicals in her spare time. 

Deputy-head: Rie

Rie has been teaching Japanese in the UK since 2006, after obtaining a qualification as a Japanese teacher. Working for a range of different organisations, Rie has taught Japanese GCSE and A-level as well as evening classes for adults. At OJS Rie teaches GCSE, A-Level and Non-Japanese classes. She enjoys cooking.

Miyuki

Miyuki has been living in Oxford since 2010. Miyuki is a qualified Japanese teacher for junior and high schools in Japan. She is also qualified to teach Japanese as a foreign language. Miyuki teaches Key Stage 1 and 2 school level students. 

Michiko

Michiko is a qualified English teacher for junior and high schools in Japan. She has lived in Britain since 1998. She currently teaches Non-Japanese classes and GCSE classes. She has experience working in both private companies and schools in Japan and the UK. She likes gardening. She is also a qualified Japanese teacher (2019 JLTCT/JEES).

Fumi

Fumi is a qualified English teacher for junior and high schools in Japan. She has lived in Britain since 2004. She currently teaches early years, beginner level and GCSE classes. She has a keen interest in web development and manages the school website.

Satoko

Satako is a qualified teacher of Japanese and Mathematics at junior and high schools in Japan. She taught Mathematics at a Japanese high school for 9 years. At OJS she currently teaches Key Stage 2 and junior high school level students. In her free time she enjoys playing sports.

Michiko (W)

Michiko (W) is a qualified Japanese teacher for junior and high schools in Japan. She also teaches Japanese Calligraphy. She is a qualified teacher of Japanese as a foreign language.
